Who is Mary Black?

A community advocate, not a career politician.

The daughter of a public school educator, her record of service to our city includes sitting on the Environmental Advisory Board as its youngest member and work with Climate Action North Carolina. Mary is running to promote a vision for justice, climate action, and progress: together, we can be a catalyst to make District A and the City of Raleigh a place where all residents can T.H.R.I.V.E.

T.H.R.I.V.E.

In order for the City of Raleigh to T.H.R.I.V.E., it must become:

Trustworthy

Healing

Resilient

Intersectional

Visionary

Engaged
